An entrance flanked in double stone columns united by bold, brass gates etched in the word Jackie O leads to a red carpet entrance to a club that’s one of the most famous, or at least infamous, in all of Rome. A stalwart of the disco movement that lingered longer in Italy than other places, Jackie O is a beloved supper club with even more popular piano bar and disco that’s still a hit for first-timers and the occasional last-timer. The dining room echoes more of a formal vibe with more modern piano bar that a hit with local. The disco features a somewhat cavernous space carved of red Venetian plaster walls lined in cushy leather booths with baroque mirrors and statuettes in every direction.
